MDD 2012: Biggest German language debating competition about to start
The German language debating championship is about to start in Vienna, Austria. Competing for the title are 68 teams from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, or debating societies from Aachen, Bayreuth, Berlin, Bonn, Dresden, Frankfurt, Freiburg, Graz, Göttingen, Halle, Hamburg, Hannover, Heidelberg, Ingolstadt, Jena, Karlsruhe, Kiel, Klagenfurt, Köln, Konstanz, Leipzig, Magdeburg, Mainz, Marburg, München, Münster, Potsdam, Regensburg, Salzburg, Stuttgart, St. Gallen, Tübingen, Wien, Würzburg and Zürich.

Makeover for Debattierclub Bayreuth’s website
The Debattierclub Bayreuth presents their new webpage – web admin Jana Deppe gave the old website a total makeover. Officially a workshop (Arbeitskreis) on European culture of debate, the debating society splits into two groups: the English speaking Debating Union (DU) and the German speaking Debattierclub (DC). You can visit both on the re-designed web pages. Moreover, the executive board introduce themselves: Maria Raßmann as the president of the Arbeitskreis, Patrick Held as the head of the DC and Sebastian Becker as the head of the DU. Weiterer Agenturartikel über die Dritte Bayreuther Debatte
Auch der Landesdienst Bayern des Evangelischen Pressedienstes (epd) hat über die Dritte Bayreuther Debatte berichtet. Die Meldung ist unter anderem auf der Seite des Evangelischen Presseverbands Bayern veröffentlicht. Im Onlinemagazin "Bayern Online" wurden der Nachbericht der Akademie für politisch-institutionelle Konfliktsimulation (AKPIKS) sowie von der AKPIKS der Presse zur Verfügung gestellte Interviews mit Mina Ahadi, Paul Schulz und Erbischof Ludwig Schick veröffentlicht.
Auch die Katholische Nachrichten-Agentur hatte in einem Korrespondentenbericht über die Debatte berichtet, ein kommentierender Bericht der Achten Minute ist am Donnerstag erschienen. Dritte Bayreuther Debatte: Agenturbericht und Pressemitteilung
Die Katholische Nachrichten-Agentur (KNA) berichtet über die Dritte Bayreuther Debatte und der Veranstalterclub AKPIKS hat eine Zusammenfassung der Auseinandersetzung zum Thema "Leben wir ohne Religion(en) besser" in einer Pressemitteilung veröffentlicht.
Die KNA hat einen Bericht über die Dritte Bayreuther Debatte versandt, der unter anderem bei kath.net nachzulesen ist. Im Bericht unter der Überschrift "Wir suchen nicht Konsens, sondern Auseinandersetzung" geht es auch um das Debattieren an sich. Im Artikel heißt es:
