Josef Hoppe debattiert seit April 2019 in Aachen und ist dort seit 2020 im Vorstand. Unter anderem war er Mitglied der Cheforga für die CARLs-Debatten 2022, gewann den Nachwuchsjurierpreis der WDM 2022 und tabbt 2023 die Campus-Debatte Göttingen sowie die Süddeutsche Meisterschaft.

Auf ihrer Mitgliederversammlung am 18.08.2022 hat die Streitkultur Tübingeneinen neuen Vorstand gewählt. Dieser setzt sich zusammen aus Brian Ortmann (Vorsitzender), Jennifer Götzinger (Stellvertretende Vorsitzende), Philipp Schönenbroicher (Schatzmeister), Jessica Bonn (Vorstandsmitglied) und Lorenz Schüttken (Vorstandsmitglied). EUDC 2018 – How did we get here
In Warsaw, 2016, Scotland was, after a tough race against Hull and Riga, selected as the host of EUDC 2018. Jan-Gunther Gosselke, president of the EUDC Council’s Executive Committee, describes how a chain of events led to this year’s Euros taking place in Novi Sad, Serbia instead.

Cambridge wins KCL Open 2018
Portrait of a Tudor as a young Al (Tudor Musat and Alasdair Donovan, Cambridge) have won the 2018 edition of the KCL Open. WUDC 2018 – The Break
Once again the anglophone World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC) took place during the turn of the year. This year's location was Mexico City. The tournament started the 27.12.17 and ended the 04.01.18. After nine preliminary rounds the teams breaking to the outrounds were announced on New Year's Eve. Leiden wins Lund IV 2016
„We are here because we didn't have a cancellation agreement“ (Jeroen Wijnen and Roel Becker, Leiden) won the final of the Lund IV in Opening Opposition.
Debating the motion "THB that nuclear weapons have made the world a safer place.", they defeated "Belgrade A" (Ilija Ivanišević and Đorđe Jovićević) in Opening Government, "UCD Law A" (Adam Stairs and Aodhan Peelo) in Closing Government and "Cambridge CK" (George Clay and Muhammad Asadullah Khan) in Closing Opposition. Best speaker was Aodhan Peelo (UCD Law A) with an average of 82.6 points.

Dutch WUDC 2017’s judge test online
Since yesterday, December 5th, 2016, judge test and debating and judging manual (to be read before completing the test) of the upcoming Dutch WUDC 2017 are available online. Consisting of a video debate and a multiple choice section, the test has to be completed by all participating judges before December 22nd 23:59 (GMT). Failure to do so will, according to the organizers, result in a "noticeable impact [on one's] allocation to rooms in the competition." Further, it has been announced that the Warsaw Speaker Scale will be applied throughout the tournament.

Scottish EUDC 2018’s Training Centre
From November 14th till November 17th (the week between Oxford IV and Cambridge IV), the Scottish EUDC 2018 OrgComm will organize two free training sessions each night at varying universities in London. These training sessions are open to anyone interested and will also be streamed and recorded to make them accessible to people who cannot make it to London.
