Preliminary allocation of judges and teams for Zagreb EUDC 2014 announced
After registration has closed, the Zagreb team announced the preliminary allocation of judge and team spots for EUDC 2014. On their facebook page they wrote:
“This is the preliminary list of teams and judges allocation for institutions that have registered to participate in Zagreb EUDC 2014: http://bit.ly/1hDHmXZ
The list is presented in alphabetical order for easier navigation. Institutions marked red are not eligible to compete at EUDC.
Institutions marked yellow:
a. it is unclear what institution (university) they have registered
b. the eligibility of the registered institution needs to be confirmed
When the unresolved issues have been sorted out, the institutions whose requests have been granted would get 1 spot, and from that point proceed with the established allocation system.
Waiting list:
The listed institutions have timely informed us of the possible problems during the registration process, and have been listed under the waiting list. We are trying to make sure that most of you get the best possible experience being a part of Zagreb EUDC 2014, but to accomplish this, we kindly ask you to follow the registration procedure, further on.
Further team spots allocation:
Whenever an institutions drops out from the registration process, an institution from the waiting list would get 1 team spot. After these institutions have been allocated one team spot, the rest of the institutions would get additional teams, according to the ranking list of the institutions (http://bit.ly/1n4iDxr).
Allocation of judges spots:
We allocated judges according to the N-1 rule, unless you’ve requested additional judges. In that case you have been allocated one additional judges spot, not exceeding N rule. This practice would be continued throughout the registration process.
NOTE: Some of the institutions have been registered several times, by different representatives. Please check which one of the registered persons are your institution representatives and get back to us with this information. This would be very important for the rest of the registration process.
If you notice any double entries, potential unmarked eligibility problems or want to share other information you feel could be useful to us, please feel free to contact us at zagreb [dot] eudc [dot] register [at] gmail [dot] com or general [dot] EUDC [dot] Zagreb [at] gmail [dot] com.
All successfully registered institutions will have to pay a non-refundable deposit of €80 per participant by March 31st. Full instructions on further registration process and payment procedure will be e-mailed to the institution representatives in the next few days.”
