The Debating Society Paderborn tell about the fun tournament in Mainz on their webpage. There they state that the debating society of Mainz, a stronghold of German carnival, is regarded rightly as having a reputation of being one of the funniest clubs on the German debating circuit. They conclude that the cup was an outstanding weekend with a great team of conveners and friendly chief adjudicators.

The Berlin Debating Union report on the Gutenberg Cup as well and send toasts to the winners from Tübingen. Berlin had sent a team of three and a judge to Mainz who now thank the conveners for a fantastic tournament.
