Frankfurt’s debating club, Debattierclub Goethes Faust Frankfurt am Main (DCGF), invites, for the second time, everybody to their Schobbe-Cup. The tournament will be held on the 14th and 15th of August, in German and the debating format Offene Parlamentarische Debatte. There will be three preliminary rounds with break to semis. Chief Adjudicators will be Pauline Leopold (Streitkultur Tübingen) and Florian Prischl (Debattierklub Wien).

Registration is open from the 12th to the 26th of July via e-mail to schobbecup2010[at]dcgf.de. The DCGF will generally only accept registrations for full teams, which means three speakers and one adjudicator. Registration fee is 10 Euros per attendant. Crash is provided for every attendant, team cap is at least 12 but might be extended.

“Schobbe”, by the way, is a Hessian word for a local traditional cider.
