Budapest Open is the perfect tournament for many reasons. It’s perfect for a good early Euros prep, for an amazing weekend, or even as Chapter One of the Austro-Hungarian Debate Week, since Vienna IV is precisely the following weekend.

Registration fee is 50 EUR for debaters and judges alike.  For this, you get almost everything you can wish for during these few days, including meals, accommodation in a three-star hotel for two nights, debate and socials venues and drinks coupons so you only have to spend a minimum amount on all your self-destruction needs. An additional night’s stay is available at the discounted price of €10.

The tournament will feature (at least) 52 teams, 5 rounds of debate with 7-minute speeches breaking to semifinals. N-1 will not be enforced strictly but unless you and your society have a very hard time finding judges, we would really appreciate you sending as many as you can.
