The 15th SSE Riga Inter-Varsity Debate Tournament is one of the biggest and oldest debate tournaments in Eastern Europe. It will take place in November 30 – December 1. This far already teams from 9 different countries have confirmed their participation. Deadline for registration & payments is due 12th of November; see details below. Chief Adjudicator of this tournament will be Stephanie Bell, who is a distinguished debater and adjudicator; you may recognize her as the CA of Oxford IV of 2013. Her achievements include: Grand-finalist at the WUDC 2012 and 2nd best speaker, quarter-finalist at WUDC 2011.

• Location: Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Latvia
• Debate Style: British Parliamentary
• Registration fee: 90€ per team and 35€ per judge (includes 2-nights’ accommodation (Saturday and Sunday night) and meals), teams that don’t need accommodation 20 € per team, 10 € per judge.
• Due to the generosity of PK Riga Hotel and Spa, we will be capable of providing most our participants with a wonderful 4-star hotel, 2 minute s walk from SSE Riga. Registering sooner rather than later has it’s benefits.
• Payments need to be made before the tournament, those wishing to pay on the spot will be charged extra due to inconveniences regarding late payment.
• Team Cap: 60 (may be extended to 80)
